I will need a Licensed Public Engineer to provide and stamp calculations for anchors in concrete and call out the special inspections required as outlined in the consistency review.
My original permit application consisted of two sets of drawings submitted to the planning department. These drawings sets are available under the links at the right side of the page, "Site Plan" and "Construction Details" . The site plans were successfully reviewed without comment from the city.
The Construction Details however, were found to be "inconsistent" in three respects; a 7' utility easement, an engineer's stamp requirement and issues related to concrete anchor bolts. Please read the Bothell Consistency Review for details to these issues which all need to be addressed by an engineering firm. The city requires all inconsistencies to be addressed before resubmitting the application.
An animated drawing, illustrates revisions to the original proposed tank placement. See changes. The revised drawing, on the Construction Details Page, shows the 7' utility easement in blue. This new drawing has not yet been (re)submitted to Bothell. See NFPA 58, table 6.3.1 and section 3.3.11. (2) for separation distance requirements. It will not require an engineers stamp.
My application with the City of Bothell was for the installation of the Underground tank and anchor ballast only. The piping and applicances were installed 3 years ago. The mechanical permits for installation of the piping and appliances have expired. I will need the engineering firm to address these mechanical permits as well and augment the Permit Application with Bothell.
A drawing of the pipe layout and photos appear on the Piping Plan Page.
